Preacher:- Rev. ‘Bayo Adeniran

~》Isaiah 40:25-31… “To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.  40:26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.  40:27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?  40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.  40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.  40:30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:  40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

▪ God is looking for you. He wants to bless you this year. He wants to add new beauty to your life. May He find you today.

~》Acts 9:3-6… “And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:  9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?  9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.  9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.”

▪ God is looking you. He is looking for you, so as to make you respond for His calling for your life.

~》Daniel 11:31-32… “And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.  11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

▪ If you bring the King of Kings back into your life, the situation of your life will be a pleasant surprise.

~》John 5:17,19… “But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.  5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”

~》Isaiah 40:9… “O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!”

▪ There is danger in living your life outside God’s plan.

▪ God wants you to live on higher ground. He does not want you to live for the wrong purpose. He wants to change your purpose for HIS purpose this year. May He find you! Amen.

▪ God will reveal your calling to you once you wait upon him.

▪ There are some that have dropped their consecration for Him because of ‘what to eat’. Today, God will raise you up!

▪ God wants you on higher ground this year because He wants to make this year your best year yet.

▪ God has prepared truth and mercy that will preserve your life today. But when you have the truth and do not collect the grace and mercy, you cannot live on that higher ground. You don’t have the power to do it.

-> “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the father is not in him.”

-> “What shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and lose his soul”

-> “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

▪ Have you had the baptism of the Holy ghost in your life? This is what makes you invincible to the world. Not your certificates…it is the Holy Spirit in your life that does that.

▪ What is God asking you to place on the altar? Fear not! The Shepherd of Israel will take care of you if you obey.

▪ Don’t run your life on reserve tank this year. The ‘Invincible Hand’ will fill it with auction of heaven…that is if you are ready to wait upon the Lord.

▪ Those that wait upon the Lord, they are the people that will know God and experience Him in His fullness.

▪ This year, if you wait upon the Lord, every storm will bow for you.

—> Won’t you wait upon God today? He is looking for you. God bless you as you pray.
